LOUSIVILLE, Ky. – The Blue Jay men's cross country team placed fifth out of seven team at the St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championship on Saturday. Greenville finished first follow by Spalding and Webster.
Sam Moore ran a personal best time of 27:38.2 to finish 12th in the 8k. His 12th place finish earned him Second Team All-Conference honors.
Joseph Labitska was the second Blue Jay to finish the race, placing 43rd with a time of 32:25.6.
Jaxon Davis and Sayid Ahmed each recorded a personal best time and placed 47th and 56th respectively. Sam Tadrus also competed for Westminster and placed 57th.
For the women's team senior Charlotte Blair placed 12th in the 6k with a personal best time of 25:06.42 and earned Second Team All-Conference honors.
Both Moore and Blair were named to the All Sportsmanship team as well.
