Taggart Scores First Hat Trick Against St. Mary's

LEAVENWORTH, Kan. - Madison Taggart scored her first career hat trick with three goals against St. Mary's.

Taggart has scored four goals so far this season.

"Today's game was the best defense and offense our team has displayed thus far," said Westminster Head Coach Kristi Crowley. "Our team worked together and had more possessions on our offensive side."

Westminster falls to 0-3 with the 23-3 loss.

"The girls continue to grow and are improving each game," said Crowley. "It's exciting to see how far we have come from our first day of practice."

Westminster travels to Ottawa Saturday for a 1 p.m. game.
