FULTON, Mo. - Westminster men's tennis made a strong effort against William Woods, but eventually fell to the Owls 9-0.
The Blue Jays weren't able to recover in singles play. Peterson put up a fight at the No. 5 position in the first set despite eventually taking the loss.
"The guys did a great job competing tonight against an extremely talented team," said Westminster Head Coach David Dyson. "The focus coming into the match was just to play one point at a time as try to make things as difficult as possible for them. Give them credit, as they were just too good. I'm proud of the effort and discipline our guys displayed."
Westminster concludes its fall season and will continue the spring season in March.
