Defensive Backs coach Jameson Allen enters his 1st season as a coach for the Westminster College Football program and 32nd year at both the high school and college level.

Coach Allen is originally from Richmond, Mo. And attended college at Central Methodist University playing football and track for the Eagles. Coach Allen then went to Hastings College in Nebraska to get his master’s degree in Teacher Education/Athletic Administration while being a GA for the football and track teams for the Broncos.

In 11 years as a head high school football coach at schools such as the University City High School of St. Louis, Lutheran South High School in St. Louis, and Westminster Academy in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. In those years he accumulated over 70 wins, a coach of the year runner-up, 2 district championships, and one state semi-finals birth while at Lutheran South in 2017. Some other stops for coach Allen were Lindbergh High School, Lafayette High School, Lindenwood University, and a season at Missouri Baptist College.

Over the years coach Allen has coached some outstanding athletes who have played high-level football such as Tershawn Wharton of the Kansas City Chiefs, Ronnie Perkins of the New England Patriots, and a host of other former NFL players not currently in the league.

Coach Allen is married to Angela and they have 4 adult kids Stephone, Trea, Keanna, and Kobe. 5 grandkids named Jace, Jet, Jaelyn, Elijah, and Kobe Jr. Coach Allen resides in Columbia, Mo.
