FULTON, Mo. – Westminster football has finalized the schedule for the 2017 season and is looking to improve on the 4-5 conference mark and 4-6 overall record from the 2016 season.
The 10-week season begins September 2 with a road trip to nonconference opponent Gustavus Adoplhus.
After the first week of nonconference play, the Blue Jays jump right into Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) play with the home opener against Minnesota-Morris, September 9.
From there, Westminster goes on the road twice to face St. Scholastica (September 16) and returning conference champions Northwestern (September 23).
This year's Homecoming game will feature the Blue Jays against Martin Luther September 30.
Westminster will face the Eureka Red Devils in an away game October 7.
Westminster finishes its final four games of the season with three home games, including Crown (October 14), MacMurray (October 28), and Iowa Wesleyan (November 4). The final road game is October 21 at Greenville.
Westminster home games are free and open to the public. All games are held at Priest Field on Westminster's campus.
