BLUE JAY SPIRIT CLUB: JOIN NOW!
Westminster College is pleased to announce the fouth year of its comprehensive, nationwide athletic club: The Blue Jay Spirit Club. With over 50% of our students arriving to campus with plans to participate in varsity and club sports, athletics is a major part of our culture.
Ken Theroff ’88, Hall-of-Famer in baseball and basketball and CEO of Jefferson Bank in Jefferson City, MO, continues to serve as the first President of the Club and is getting involved because he believes in Westminster’s athletic programs. “Westminster athletics has been a huge positive influence on generations of alumni, including me and my friends,” he says. “I am looking forward to supporting those who come to the college with the same goals as we all did.”
The Blue Jay Spirit Club has two goals.
- To provide funding and assist financially with the ongoing operations of the athletics department.
- To foster support and camaraderie over the coming years among students and alumni across all sports and all decades and to give our alumni a chance to support the next generation of Blue Jay athletes.
